Many of you that know me first became familiar with my work writing the Tarotscopes at http://www.12house.com/. Nearly 50,000 of you read the scopes each week which just totally blows my mind! Thank you!
Every year I write an annual preview by quarter for each astrological sign. I get a lot of mail from people throughout the year wanting to review them. So, after endless requests, here they are!
2008 Quarterly Review
Aries
1st Quarter 2008: Ways in which you were growing and changing in 2007 really come into full bloom with the New Year. If you think back, the person that you were just a year ago and the person you are now are strikingly different. All of this change will cause a great deal of re-evaluation in your life. Every aspect of your life will be up for consideration as you attempt to choose your path for the next few years. Some of the aspects of your life that you will decide to leave behind will take great courage and strength to let go of. But the burden taken off of your shoulders by these decisions will feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from you.
2nd Quarter 2008: Things seem to start out with a fair amount of stress for Rams, but I don’t believe it lasts very long. I believe a white knight (a rescuer of some sort) rushes in to save the day and make things much, much better. Removing the stress caused by whatever crisis or “wrong-thinking” you had going will definitely put you in the driver’s seat. Without the worry, you sail to easy victory. It should be a strong quarter for Aries if you just don’t get too caught up in whatever negativity you accidentally fell into at the start of the timeframe.
3rd Quarter 2008: Lady Justice pays a visit to the house of Aries and my, my… so many things get put into order. How this effects you will depend greatly on how you have handled your own integrity over the past 6 months. It appears to me that issues regarding materialism will be huge. Are you overspending? Too much debt? Strongly possible. Review your own personal balance sheet to see if you are headed down a dangerous road and if so, get busy on correcting your course. This warning comes now because there is time to fix things before they move from bad to disastrous. Huge caution about not going crazy with holiday spending, too.
4th Quarter 2008: Taking a lead role during this time frame is a recipe for success. However, be careful that you aren’t so busy being “boss” that you ignore the details. The details will be very important and skipping over them will definitely set you back more than a few paces. Cautiously I say, it does seem that you are destined to get what you want this quarter in spite of yourself. However, you can get it the easy way or the hard way. And really paying attention to all aspects of the situation will result in the easier path.
Taurus
1st Quarter 2008: The year will start off very well for Taurus when it comes to situations revolving around relationships. What you’ve been wanting, you will get. But be aware that getting what you want can also create enormous burdens and stresses of their own. You will need to manage these new issues very closely. You may even have to remind yourself often of why you made these choices in the first place. Schedule things regularly with friends or; if you prefer; alone time to keep the stress under control. Let me say this again: It is very important that you keep the stress level under control. So make sure you have outlets, both creative and traditional for keeping tabs on this.
2nd Quarter 2008: Taurus appears to make some significant shifts where you really come into your own. If you are predisposed to teaching, I think you will find yourself in the spotlight in some favorable way. Very possibly a new home or new love will show itself for you as well during this time frame. Someone has a new business proposition for you. It looks good and should be looked at seriously and most likely with a lot of favor. It’s okay to let this person be a bit in the driver’s seat. They have your best interest at heart and in all honesty, they’re a better driver than you. Buckle up!
3rd Quarter 2008: Something that you have always worked on or done alone you will now start to do with someone else. In other words, your big solo gig becomes a duet. It will require a lot of balance, compromise, and compassion towards the other party. (The same will be true of them for you.) Bear in mind that this dance is a waltz; slow and graceful. This is not disco-dancing. It’s not something you can do with your eyes closed off in your own little world and have it come off well. This is divinely guided and to the extent you work with Angels, they are present to assist. ArchAngel Gabriel appears to have a hand in this so asking assistance from her will help.
4th Quarter 2008: This appears to be an excellent timeframe for Taurus. Both money and partnerships look good. There appears to be a cautionary tale here regarding allowing yourself to become trapped in some way. Are you repeating an old pattern? Be very careful to not boomerang yourself from this young new life you have created right back into the old one you left behind. Be awake; be very, very awake during this quarter as to your motives, goals, and purpose for all you do.
Gemini
1st Quarter 2008: It seems that throughout 2007 Gems were in a place where new job opportunities were popping up. This theme isn’t over yet. Something big should show up in the first quarter of 2008. This change has the potential to upset your apple cart in many aspects of your life besides the direct effect on career issues. Whether this “upset apple cart” is good or bad will be solely determined by you by how you react to it and how you perceive the changes. Make sure you talk a good story when pitching these changes to people in your life who are also affected. It may take a lot of salesmanship on your part to sell these changes.
2nd Quarter 2008: This time frame is about three things: relationships, relationships, and relationships. Romance is in the air so heavily, it may be tough to breathe. This appears to be quite serious so give it powerful evaluation. The message has life-long implications even if the person or the situation does not make it to the end of the quarter. Those of you that have been trying to build a steel bubble around yourself to keep people out will find someone has shown up with a laser torch. You can fight it or you can give in to it. One’s easier the than the other but the result will be the same. Your choice.
3rd Quarter 2008: The romance cards are showing up again this quarter; carrying over the theme from April-June. The cards warn that you may find yourself repeating mistakes you have made from the past. I might even ask you if you are truly over your ex? Their influence in your life is showing. It will take a great deal of work for your history not to repeat itself. You may have changed partners (or changed the nature of your relationship with your current partner) but if you didn’t change yourself, then guess where you’ll be when this has played itself out? (Exactly right where you started.)
4th Quarter 2008: Productivity during this timeframe appears to be through the roof. Good for you! My concern is only that you might have too many balls in the air. Be cautious of that as you might make some foolish mistakes due to being overwhelmed by the workload that you yourself have chosen to take on. A new direction is showing in the cards so you might decide to make some significant changes during the quarter regarding money; either how you spend it or how you make it. Be careful that you don’t step from the frying pan into the fire.
Cancer
1st Quarter 2008: Here we have the typical situation of “be careful what you ask for.” Looks like in the January-March timeframe Cancers will be getting just exactly what they wanted. This appears to be something (or someone?) that you had longingly desired for sometime. Just be prepared that his opens up many, many cans of worms. You’ll be busier than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs trying to accomplish all the things that are required of you as a direct result of getting your prayers answered. You might want to avoid scheduling any vacations during this quarter as you’ll be more stressed than rested by the idea of being out of pocket from January through March.
2nd Quarter 2008: This week we’re looking at the 2nd quarter (April-June) of 2008. Someone pops in to your life in an attempt to truly help you. Problem is you may not know you need the help. You’ll really have to work to fight that crab-like compulsion to run off sideways and bury yourself in the sand. This person’s presence is very good for you and should be embraced. The energy here is very light; very honest; very sweet. There just isn’t anything here to be worried about or afraid of. You will grow and evolve from this experience and it should be relatively painless.
3rd Quarter 2008: My, my how busy are you? The answer is “pretty close to frantic.” But it’s okay because it appears that you are winning big. Success is all over the cards and I couldn’t be happier for you. However, it is very important that you take care of yourself during this time. Yes, yes… I could talk about eating right and meditation and yoga, etc. But what I really mean is: are you emotionally taking care of yourself? Or are you throwing out expectations for yourself that you wouldn’t put on your own worst enemy? It’s okay to make mistakes and its okay to take a break. In fact, your success rate will go up if you treat yourself with the same loving compassion we expect to receive from our Cancer friends.
4th Quarter 2008: Something that you have really, really wanted for a long time shows up. And appears to show up quickly. It does appear that this requires a good bit of negotiation. Please remember to be in good faith during these talks as this is what impresses the party on the other side into giving you what you want. If you are harboring thoughts of how to manipulate the situation, then karma will kick in and things will not go near as well as you are wanting them to. Being honest and forthright will pay back in spades.
Leo
1st Quarter 2008: Things may start out slow for our Lion friends. And in January you may feel extremely restless; as though you’re gonna come out of your skin. But things will pick up. Expect an opportunity or event to just fall right out of the sky into your lap. After that, you’ll be up and running at full speed, most likely loving every minute of the activity after the early winter lull. Things should remain in a high energy state all the way through March.
2nd Quarter 2008: The high energy state we talked about last week for February-March will come back down to a slow crawl or even a full stop. Your goal will be within sight and that will be frustrating, but the pause is necessary. Frankly, there will be little you can do about it. It appears that the purpose of the temporary stop is to redirect your focus onto another topic; namely your home life. Something there will need attending to and this will be your chance to address that. New information regarding business or career will come in towards the end of the quarter that will definitely be worth considering.
3rd Quarter 2008: Spending time alone is very important during this timeframe. There is a good bit of inner work that needs to be done whereby you reevaluate what happens in your life. The feeling is that a lot of the choices you make during the third quarter will directly affect the path you take in 2009. The inner work here is quick and effective. There is not a lot of dawdling showing. A vacation would be good during the August-September months, but nothing crazy! Don’t take the kids to Disney World or head off to a third world country to build houses for the homeless. Not this time anyway. I’m talking about rest and relaxation. And the ability to sit and think for long periods of time in quiet. That would be just the ticket.
4th Quarter 2008: Too much, too much, too much; that is what is showing in the cards. This appears to be a time where you have so many choices that you can’t settle on anything in particular. I believe that the situation is probably very emotionally charged for you and that is what makes it hard for you pin down what you want. Getting some grounding will be critical so that your inner guidance will be able to shine through and really lend a hand in making the right decisions. Making decisions based on material things will lead you down the wrong path. Keep your focus on the up and up and that will also help guide you.
Virgo
1st Quarter 2008: Events appear to circle around a public institution (schools, government or the military.) There may be stress or uncertainty regarding how one of these things is going to interact with your life. You’ll need to be brave and rely upon all the inner strength you can muster. A new direction or path may be forced by how events unfold. Early spring may find you packing up and heading off after new horizons; either literally or metaphorically. Be kind to yourself if you find that you’re a bit confused about which path to take.
2nd Quarter 2008: Things appear to get very pleasant during this timeframe for Virgos. Romance will either fire up with someone new or be rekindled with someone you’re currently with. Financially, things are prosperous and you may find yourself thinking that “yeah, this is how I want my life to be.” Dreams you’ve had for a long time will fly in the window bringing a sort of contentment and knowing. You’ll feel as though you have one foot in this world and one foot on the other side of the veil as you catch glimpses of how life is supposed to be lived. The only trouble will be keeping those epiphanies in the front of your mind rather than allowing yourself to slip back into the deep sleep we call “reality.”
3rd Quarter 2008: Big decisions will be made in this three month period. Most likely these choices will change your life in a dramatic way. The long term ramifications of these decisions can not be overstated. Relationship issues are still showing so some of this may be carrying over from last quarter. Of all the signs, Virgo’s have the opportunity to have the very best year if you can just stay balanced, focused, and awake to the power you have to make your life what you want it to be. Ask for what you want, but do not attach to how those desires get fulfilled. Be awake, but at peace.
4th Quarter 2008: As the year ends, Virgos appear to be showing a bit of a sense of loss. My sense is that this is due to missing someone. Perhaps a child leaves the nest or someone close to you moves away or starts to travel a lot. Whatever the reason, it is suggested by the cards that you keep yourself busy. This is a great time to accomplish some things that you have been wanting to get done. In addition to that, inner work appears to be soothing to you as you realize the connection you have with yourself is what gives the greatest comfort. Try not to overly focus on whatever or whoever is missing. Instead, focus on who you can become now that you have time.
Libra
1st Quarter 2008: Someone new should come riding into your life in the January through March timeframe. This has the potential to be romantic, but if it’s not romantic then it will still definitely be a relationship that evokes very powerful feelings. This has the effect of changing your life in a very big way. The changes appear to be extremely positive though also probably far-reaching. There is some connection to the summer months here but guess we’ll have to wait till the 3rd quarter to see what that looks like.
2nd Quarter 2008: This timeframe will have the effect of making Librans feel mighty powerful. And the truth is, you will be. Manifestation ability will be very high and you’ll be able to have much of what you want. The cards are warning a bit about you possibly asking for something you have no business asking for; and then getting it. This could make a serious mess that you’ll have to clean up and it’ll be no small task to mop up after yourself here. I believe some very close personal relationships will also be involved. Be very careful about what you tell the Universe you want. Your unawareness of your ability to manifest during this time could make for trouble.
3rd Quarter 2008: Don’t be surprised if you spend a lot of time learning from those younger (or in some way junior) to yourself. Be cautious of giving these youngsters too much credit. Sometimes our juniors can teach us, but it appears in this situation they could really lead you astray. Beware of traversing down a road of folly. If it feels to you as though it’s a dumb move, it’s probably a dumb move. Advice is great and often invaluable, but during this timeframe make sure that any advice you get passes the “smell-test”. If it doesn’t, then heed your own counsel first.
4th Quarter 2008: Something new begins and the primary thing in your way is your own mind. You will need to be especially cautious of negative or fearful thinking. It won’t serve you at all and will cause issues down the road. It appears that things are really going to go very well as you will be working with someone of very high moral standards and trustworthiness. Fear based thoughts will show through and give your partner in all of this the impression that you are less than committed. Keep your mind on a short leash and things will be very well throughout this quarter.
Scorpio
1st Quarter 2008: January through March is a time of decision making. You’ll be doing the best you can to make the choices that are thrust upon you, but there is a strong indication that you may not have the full story. You may make some “management decisions” only to find out that you didn’t have all the facts. Back-tracking may ensue or you may just have to find a way to make some ill-informed decisions fit like square pegs in round holes. Input from younger folks may be of assistance, though honestly the tactless way the information is expressed will have you cringing.
2nd Quarter 2008: More choices are showing as looming just like the last three months. But this time, it appears you are a lot more cautious. Family (or family of choice) input is showing and that’s a wise idea on your part. To a certain extent, you will have to make the best choices you can and then divorce yourself from being overly emotionally attached how things happen from there. Ask the Universe for the outcome you desire, but get out of the way as to the HOW of it all. Metamorphosis is showing so you will grow from all of this in a positive way. Have patience.
3rd Quarter 2008: Big business deals are showing with a lot of opportunity for financial gain. Something about this time is also about waking up to your own potential and abilities in this same vein. It will be a tremendously busy quarter with you feeling as though you’re on a treadmill that is set just a bit too fast. Can you keep up? Well, yes, of course you can. But extra care will be required that you aren’t sloppy and slip up on too many of the details. Good time to keep a lot of copious notes and check them often to verify that everything that needs to be done gets done.
4th Quarter 2008: Big decisions to make are showing. You may feel as though the hurdles are too great to overcome, but expect assistance to arrive out of the blue. Looks like someone has a genuine interest in the success of whatever endeavor you have going and truly wants to offer their help. I’d strongly suggest you accept. With this person’s help, your fortunes will change and what seemed a formidable challenge will suddenly appear to you be quite doable. Don’t forget to say thank you.
Sagittarius
1st Quarter 2008: January through March appears to be a big growing time for Sags. You’ll be both in and out of the limelight. Sometimes the star of the show and sometimes just wishing the time would move faster. Spending a lot of time on the inward journey will reap significant results and the revelations you come away with will help to push you more and more into a place of prestige and recognition. It may seem like a slow time, but the growth will be enormous and worth all the apparent boredom.
2nd Quarter 2008: Things start to really balance out from last quarter and you will be feeling as though you are really hitting your stride. Lots to celebrate and be grateful for as you really start to feel comfortable in your new skin. I believe you will find yourself REALLY starting to understand who you are and why you are here; far more so than you have ever done before. And that should feel good. It will have to be all about you, though. Your mantra will need to be “what is the best thing for ME?” Make those decisions with kindness and compassion for others, but in the end, it has to be about YOU or the momentum will be lost.
3rd Quarter 2008: A new opportunity comes in, but gosh it’s tough. It’s a wonderful chance for you, but it feels like a ton of work. There may be a husband and wife team involved. Keep in mind that you may be being a lot harder on yourself than other people involved with this project consider necessary or appropriate. Be sure to match up your expectations for your own results with the others on the team. This looks like an excellent marriage of interests and skill-sets. Remember that no matter how great the opportunity, if it’s not fun you should be asking yourself what you’re doing wrong. (Or even if you should be doing it.)
4th Quarter 2008: Sags may still be struggling with last quarter’s new “opportunity.” Regret is showing but honestly, it is wrongly placed. Being honest and open with the others on the team has the ability to turn the entire situation around. Regret turns to celebration as you really start to come into your own during this entire endeavor. I’m wondering if travel is involved as it appears that someone at home is missing you pretty badly. Shower that person with love and devotion and as constant a contact as possible during this time. No matter how good this opportunity is, it’s not worth jeopardizing what you have at home. Remember that your primary relationship comes first.
Capricorn
1st Quarter 2008: January through March appears to be a time of forging new alliances. The spread of cards has me wondering though if you will have thought through everything that is involved. There’s an aspect here that indicates that you may find yourself caught with your pants down. While the self-recrimination is there, it’s not overly spoken. What is showing is a good deal of strategizing of how to get yourself out of the mess you allowed yourself to just wander aimlessly into. Getting out of the “deal” won’t be the key point, however. The main issue here will be to figure out where your attention lies, where it should lie, and what exactly are your priorities for 2008.
2nd Quarter 2008: Whatever difficulties Caps may have experienced during the first three months, they are sure gonna be gone in this quarter. Blue, sunny skies are showing with you the reigning victor in some big project you undertake. I’m guessing that you have quite a brilliant idea to present to those around you and it certainly impresses everyone. If you are in line for a promotion or a higher position elsewhere, I’d say it’ll be yours for the asking. If you’ve been waiting to make any moves in your professional life to further your standing, wait no longer as the time is certainly ripe. Undertake whatever projects you want with confidence.
3rd Quarter 2008: The energy in this timeframe will be quite a shift from last quarter. Difficult messages coming from someone younger than (or in someway junior to) you stir up a good bit of emotion. You may feel as though you are losing (or have lost) something valuable. There may also be travel during this time. Keep in mind that when something ends, it usually opens a space for something new to come in. This appears to be the case here as well. Whether you view this time as negative or as a healthy shake-up of the status quo, you can expect some significant change to have occurred in your life by the end of September.
4th Quarter 2008: The final three months of the year look especially rosy for Caps. Family, relationship, and trust issues all appear to be at a high. If you are not already married, you may find yourself headed towards commitment during this timeframe. If you are already married, a rejuvenation of the relationship is probable. The person you are bonded with is very trustworthy and solid. Make sure that your actions reciprocate those extremely valuable traits.
Aquarius
1st Quarter 2008: It would not surprise me if big changes show up for Aquariuns in the January through March timeframe. It’s quite possible that you will find yourself in a business relationship of some sort that will have you behaving in a very subordinate way. You’ll need to stay awake to this possibility because the cards truly do not show you being fully aware of the fact that you are giving all your power over to someone else. I don’t believe it lasts very long as there are indicators that show you moving on. But the effect upon you once you “wake up” will be powerful. I suspect a great deal of soul searching and evaluation of just how exactly you allowed this to happen will follow. Expect the pondering to continue past March.
2nd Quarter 2008: After a bit of dozing in the Jan-Mar timeframe, it appears that Aquariuns will truly have woken up to their own power. Suddenly, you’re in control; what a beautiful thing! Still, your ability to manifest; while powerful; will not be instantaneous. You will have to be patient and wait. This may cause issues of Faith that you are manifesting at all, but you should trust that you are. This isn’t fast-food you know. Good things, like good food, can take a while to manifest. The Angels are showing up as being at your side so this is definitely a divinely guided and protected time for you.
3rd Quarter 2008: Lots of business issues arise as well as a need to make judgments that are fair and just. A woman is featured predominantly in this reading as being the center of attention. Someone young with a tremendous business sense has to take charge to make things go smoothly. It appears that everyone involved here feels that they can trust this young person to handle things correctly and fairly. Make sure that all the pressure for success doesn’t just land on this young person’s shoulders however. They may be amazingly competent, but that doesn’t mean they won’t need help.
4th Quarter 2008: There may be some mental gymnastics going on in this quarter, but it’s only because you’re not supposed to be thinking; you’re supposed to be feeling. A relationship that you have been in all year is ready for the next big step. The marriage card is showing, but if you are already married, it could just mean a bigger, deeper commitment in some form with your current spouse. Again, this is all about emotion. Don’t think; just do. This connection is not just love, it’s spiritual. And both sides of that coin should be given acknowledgment.
Pisces
1st Quarter 2008: January through March appear to bring with them a certain amount of disappointment. I don’t believe things will transpire in the way you are planning or hoping. Winter months appear to bring with them restlessness and a powerful desire to move on. Move to where? The cards do not say. But I believe that something will transpire during this timeframe that if you heard someone predict it today, you would be quite stunned. Life is full of surprises and I believe you will have some significant ones before springtime of 2008 rolls around.
2nd Quarter 2008: Our beloved fishies will be a tad introspective, if not downright emotional as the April-June timeframe begins. That will probably pass as something you’ve been working on (and thought was finished) suddenly comes back to you for revisions. You may not like that very much, but the cards say to just “do the work and don’t take it personally.” Changes are coming and this project has a lot to do with that. But you will have to wrap your mind (and heart) around the idea that you don’t always get to be the “boss of you.” This is about compromise. And even though you may not be in a compromising mood on this particular issue, your highest, greatest good is better served by you bending.
3rd Quarter 2008: This reading appears to be about romance, but could also be just about someone in your life that is extremely reliable and kind-hearted. Expect someone amazing to come into your life, but don’t expect it to be an easy thing. This person; while of the highest caliber and moral standing; will require a great deal of work on your part. Connecting with this person romantically (or whatever the nature of the relationship) will require some sort of sacrifice or big-time change for you. Examples might include a cross-country move or possibly having to change jobs for some reason. Only you will be able to accurately weigh what you are willing to “pay” to have this person in your life. What will make that a tough call is that this person is worth quite a lot.
4th Quarter 2008: Things look really good for Pisces as the year ends. A big success is showing as well as a “happy marriage. This happy marriage may have to do with 3rd quarter’s reading or it could be a paring with someone regarding a new business venture. A substantial career opportunity is showing as well so it’s hard to say which type of partnership we’re talking about. Regardless, you’ll have many decisions to make in front of you. Getting good advice will be very important.
